Stay homeを楽しむために、一五一会という楽器を購入しました。

To enjoy staying at home, I have bought a musical instrument called Ichigo-ichie.

これは、日本のバンド、Begin が開発した楽器で、沖縄の民族楽器、三線とギターのハーフと言われています。

Ichigo-iche is created by a Japanese band, “Begin”.

指一本でコードが弾けるのも特徴の一つで、指が3本の僕でも弾けるかなと思い、購入しました。

One of the features of the ichigo-iche is that you are able to hold chords by one finger. That was one of the reasons why I bought it.

しかし問題は、右手でピックが持てないこと。

However, I couldn’t have a pick by the right hand.

そこで試行錯誤の結果、これらを使ってピックを固定することにしました。

I eventually found the way to hold a pick after repeated trial and error. I use these.

それはペットボトルの上部とアクティブバンドと呼ばれる、トレーニングで使っているサポーターです。ピックはペットボトルのキャップに刺して、固定してあります。

These are the upper part of a bottle and the active hand which I use for training. A pick is stuck on the cap of the bottle.

まずは、右手にペットボトルの上部をはめます。次にこれをアクティブハンドで固定します。

Firstly, I put the upper part of the bottle on my right hand and hold it by the active hand.

 

いろんな曲を演奏できるようになりたいなぁと思います。

I would like to play lots of songs on Ichiro-iche.
