This post is the first one in February as I have been super busy by a lot of events.

皆さんご無沙汰しておりました！ 今回が2月最初の投稿になってしまいました。今月はなかなか忙しく、でもすごくいろんな事がありました。

Firstly, I went down to Sheffield for a competition called “BUCS” (British Universities and Colleges Sport) two weeks ago.

まず最初に、2週間ほど前になりますが、イギリスの大学選手権、所謂インカレに出場してきました。僕は毎年この大会に出場しています。

I raced in 50m, 100m, and 200m Freestyle and won the gold medal in all events! Woohoo🙌! That was my first BUCS in S4 category and also a good race practice before the trials for the world championships in March. I luckily watched Adam Peaty’ s performance in 50m Breaststroke.

今回は、50m、100m、200m自由形に出場しました。初めてS4として出場しましたが、全ての種目で金メダルが取れて良かったと思っています。3月の世界選手権代表選考会に向けても、レース感覚を取り戻すためのいい機会になりました。たまたまオープン参加していたアダムピーティー選手の50m平泳ぎが観られたのもラッキーでした。

Secondly, last week, the Japanese TV crews (NHK) came to Newcastle from Japan to film my Newcastle life🎥.

続きまして先週は、日本からわざわざNHKの方が僕のニューカッスルでの暮らしを取材しに来てくれました。

At one of my favourite cafes called the Quilliam Brothers.

僕の好きなQilliam Brothers というカフェにて。ここはオススメです。ニューカッスルにきたら是非行ってみてください。

 

They gave an interview to a metro staff.

通学に使うメトロも取材されていました。

They also filmed my training and my uni life as well. It will be shown on the TV programme called the Ohayou Nippon between 7 and 8 am on the 6th of March. Don’t miss it!!

もちろんメインのトレーニングについてや、講義の撮影されていきました。講義を受けているところは、あまり使って欲しくないですね笑。 この模様は、3月6日の“おはよう日本”の7時台のコーナーで放送されるそうです。お見逃しなく！

 

Lastly, Today, I’ve got back to Japan for the trials for the World Championships that hold on the 2nd and 3rd of March. I luckily departed Newcastle in a red sky at dawn. What a beautiful send off!

そして最後に、今日、日本に一時帰国しました！3月2日と3日の世界選手権代表選考会に出場する為です。ニューカッスルを出るときの朝焼けがすごく綺麗だったなぁ。日本でもイベントがたくさん待っているので、それはまたお伝えします！
