3月10日、11日。静岡県富士市でパリパラリンピック日本代表選手選考レースが行われました。

私は、50m自由形、100m自由形、そしてリレー選考のために50m平泳ぎに出場しました。

I competed in the 50m Freestyle, the 100m Freestyle, and the 50m Breaststroke at the trials for the Paris Paralympic Games, which took place in Fuji on the 10th and 11th of March.

 

 

結果は下記の通りです。

The results are as follows.

50m Freestyle (S4)  37.86　(Under the qualifying time A.)

100m Freestyle (S4)  1:23.13 (Under the qualifying time A)

50m Breaststroke (SB3)  52.75 (Under the qualifying time B)

 

この結果により、パリパラリンピック日本代表推薦選手に選ばれました。

I am delighted to announce that I was selected for the Team Japan for Paris!

(It will be officially announced after the Japan Paralympic committee approves it.)

 

6大会目のパラリンピックになります。

The Paris will be my sixth Paralympic Games.

 

自由形種目で派遣標準記録Aを切れたことはとても良かったですし、50m自由形で37秒台が出たのは嬉しく思います。

I am happy with the times in the Freestyle events, especially under 38 seconds in the 50m.

 

やっと、表彰台を狙えるレベルに戻ってきたなという実感です。

I feel like I am back to the level where I can aim for the medals at the Paralympic Games.

 

パリパラリンピックでは、メダルを狙っていきますし、金メダルも取りたいと思っています。

またハードなトレーニングが待っていますが、全力を尽くしたいと思います。

I will train hard and do my best to win the medals, including the gold.
