ジャパンパラ大会に出場しました。
I took part in the Japan Para Championships.

シンガポール世界選手権の１週間前のレースだったので、しっかり調整して挑みました。
As it was just a week before the World Championships in Singapore, I made sure to fine-tune my preparation and approach the race in top form.

密かに狙っていた、2009年に出した50m平泳ぎの大会記録の更新。
One of my quiet goals was to break the competition record in the 50m breaststroke — a record I’d set back in 2009.

その大会記録は、初めて48秒台を出し、当時の世界記録を更新した北京パラリンピックの翌年のタイムで、北京パラリンピックの決勝で出したタイムより0.01秒遅いだけの好タイムでした。
That record was from the year after the Beijing Paralympics, when I broke the world record and swam under 49 seconds for the first time. It was an impressive time —just 0.01 seconds slower than the one I got in the final.

結果は、大会新記録なる48秒67で泳ぐ事ができました!
This time, I managed to swim 48.67 seconds — setting a new game record!

シンガポールで出したいと思っていた48秒台がここで出す事ができ、自信を持ってシンガポールに向かう事ができました。
I was hoping to hit the 48-second mark in Singapore, but achieving it here has given me great confidence heading into the World Championships.
